ELDER B.A. HILL

Elder Bertram A Hill was born February 19, 1949  at Herman Kiefer Hospital of Detroit to the union of Joseph and Juanita Hill.. He was educated in the Highland Park School District and Graduated from Highland High School in 1967. After graduating  from High School he served in the U.S. Navy from 1968-1970.

He accepted Christ as his Savior in 1970. He became a member of Calvary Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Highland Park Mi., under the leadership of the late Pastor James W. Russell where he worked as an Usher. In August 1977 he was ordained as a Deacon. He started working for Michcon Gas in August 1972.  Also in August of 1972 he met his lovely wife Sandra Johnson. They were married the following  year on August 18, 1973.Pastor Hill is the father of four children.God told Pastor Hill to go to school in 1979. He attended William Tindale Bible College .On February. 17, 1983 Pastor Hill accepted his calling.. His first sermon was on April 10, 1983. The title of his message was “Jesus Is the Way.” In august of 1984 Pastor Hill was ordained as an Elder of the Primitive Baptist Church. He was also a Convention Evangelist which traveled to many churches in the Chicago River Association. In November 1991 God gave him a vision to start a ministry. On January 5, 1992 at 5:00pm  Fountain of Life Ministry had its first service. On  October  1, 2017 Fountain of Life Ministry merged with Hale’s Tabernacle P.B.C. to form what is now known as Tabernacle of Life Ministry.
